Journey (When I'm Lost)

On a journey, people said we will meet lot of man, wise in his wisdoms and varied in his perceptions and I found one of them from mine. He knows that I was worried, kind of loss in my way, so he offered me a help.

After a long walked, we arrived at a river and the old man said to take a rest first because we need to cross it later. I lifted down my bags, relaxing my shoulders, lean against a big tree while the old man seated right beside me. He asked me about many things, where do I came from, from which family I was born, how old my parents are, why do I take this journey, to where I plan to head for at first, and into whom did I heading for.

Feeling curios of this kind of personal matter, I asked him why he wants to know because this could be the first and last we met. “It is indeed not matter to me, but for you, yes it is. I have no interest to know about you in the first place son, but I want to remind you about things that you may forget. I met lot of travelers in my life and some made it to their destination while some keep wondering along their journey.

So? I asked him, wondering where this talked going to.

“They lost because they begin to forget their past, they make friends of travelers that keep talking about the good of the road they takes, and they speak too much about the present while ignoring the future they might face, and they admiring a lot about their self, and they turn to be ignorance of which hating others that remind them about their past.”
