Kelantan, the way it used to be |
Previous: Part 1
History sure brings big impact toward living people who never forget. Always people will talk about patriotism, the right that you hold as a citizen, and the trust that you claim with no hesitation. Talking about picture in big frame by barely looking at the broken frame, and the vanishing color’s tone of the photo; what you think will happen?
Kelantanese being related to all kind of violence, fierceness, impatient and the most broken personality through the years of history; which I never understand where the root is coming from. Site by site have been set up on the Net claiming that they understand the problem, and no good came as a result except then new perspective being given to Kelantanese as tribalism. It’s so unfair when you were given no choice to be yourself because you being judge just before you being born.
Hatred being spread from generation to generation because of a small fragment of story that being projected, years by years, and it’s getting bigger from time to time. That’s all possibility that I can think. People wrote stories about Kelantanese with curse and insult, and what just they hope the outcome would be? In a family, our parents told us to protect and take a good care of each others. But then one day, a guy came saying this and that, with sounds of condemnation, full of hatred, insulting our beloved parents and descendents, bad-mouthing about our family, and cursing one of our siblings, so how you think we should acted upon this dishonor speaking? Should we shut our mouth up? Do nothing and just keep smiling? And if we act recklessly in response, can they label us as being brute or tribalism, maybe?
Being bias is something that we didn’t even realize in the first place. Its can control our thinking and its outcome which we claim as neutral as our own perspective. The environment that we live in will be the good places to start all kind of feeling that we don’t understand in absolute. It’s same as being roughshod toward persons near you without you being realized because of believe that you hold as it is all about perspective.
A strong loyalty to one’s tribe, party, or group.
